Dana & Neil Phillips Radio Appearance
Neil and Dana Phillips are returning to the CashFlowShow – Direct Sales Radio (Wednesday, November 14th, 2012) to share with us how to have a great 2013 by finishing up 2012 with a BANG!!
Neil and Dana are direct sales coaches with Team Connections. They are the founders of First Friday, the leadership training program that works!
Your First Direct Sales Christmas
If this is your first direct sales business Christmas season, then you may have some worries!
- Are you worried you might run out of parties?
- Are you wondering what to say to people when they tell you “later”?
- Do you wish you could have the same fantastic party sales as the “big kids”?
First of all, don’t feel like a failure…just being in direct sales means you’re already on your way to success.
Remember the “big kids” had to have a first Christmas, too! They had to learn, as you will, that there are many things which can be done to keep your parties going and to achieve the sales goals you have set.
Call on more people: think of people who would use your product. Go show them what you have and ask for dates for one hour “shopping sprees”.
Show your booking tools! What great offers do you have for people who purchase or host a party with you? Tools work when you pick them up to show and demonstrate them.
Try “super sooner” Holiday parties. You can offer quick get-together ideas.
- Let’s have a quick coffee hour.
- Let’s have a Christmas cookie exchange.
- Let’s have a Holiday Gift Party.
Go To Your Direct Sales Training Events
Don’t miss a single training call or direct sales meeting! The displays, selling ideas, booking tips and recruit ideas are tremendous. The successful people attend training.
Be optimistic! Do your best! Show enthusiasm even when you don’t feel enthusiastic. Remember, you become what you think…so think enthusiasm! There is enough gloom in the world without you adding to it! Believe in yourself and in your future and others will believe in you!
Be patient after you‘ve exhausted all other possibilities!
If you just can’t book a hostess now, set a definite date right in your datebook for later (the first three weeks in January). Avoid saying “call me after the holidays” or “I will call you in January.” It just doesn’t work as well. Do a thorough job of hostess coaching January parties. You will be building a strong foundation for your new business and long before next year’s holidays roll around, you’ll realize you’re one of the “big kids”, too!
