The Power Of Attitude! Changing Attitudes
Posted by Deb BixlerAttitude Is Everything, You Can Change
Some people have a really hard time getting over something. They take life too seriously. We can choose to change our attitude. It is essential not to get too hung up on the past because attitude is everything!
I recently was involved in a situation where someone was annoyed with me for something that they perceived as wrong that I had done. I had felt my integrity was good and had no reason to regret my actions. Apparently this other person did not. They maintained a negative attitude toward me for quite some time. I moved on. She did not.
After some time, I guess others had pointed out to her that her action was inappropriate and that she was in the wrong. This prompted a series of emails and apologies from her to me and she is still upset at at both me and herself.
Get over it! Change Your Attitude!
I got over it as soon as it happened and moved on. I do not let negative influences change my outlook on life. I only allow people with positive attitudes influence my life.
I have found that the best philosophy for life is to do the best I can one day at a time. Don’t regret the past nor shut the door on it. I live today with gratitude and live the best I can every day.
My advice to all of you is to get up every day, do the best you can at everything you do, and be grateful for what you have Don’t focus on what you do not have. Keep in mind that your best can change from minute to minute and your best can always be better when you grow because of your daily experiences.
Remember that everyone is living life the best that they can too. When you keep that in mind, and understand that everyone is operating from their own space, then you never have to take things personally. Nothing that other people do is because of you. What other people say and do is a projection of themselves only.
