A piece of advice for those nervous about public speaking - find a course that will help you. There are several good ones. I belong to Toastmasters and found it has been a huge help. If you're going to speak in public, you might as well learn to do it well. Toastmasters is very non-threatening and eases you into public speaking and leadership.
