“I Am Too Busy To Schedule A Home Party Show!

If you hear that from your customers there is a good chance that there is an underlying message that they are not saying.

“I am too busy” does not really mean that they are too busy to host a home party show….

What it really means is that you, the home party plan consultant, have not established enough value for them to have a show. You have not shown that their time will be well spent at the home party.

NOT Enough FUN!!


Fun Home Party = Bookings!

If  you are not getting many bookings at your home party then chances are your show presentation is not fun for the guests. The fun factor is essential to scheduling shows!

Fun really is the biggest commodity going in the party plan environment. Fun is what sells!

Your Direct Sales Business Is A Tree!

Direct Sales Business TreeYou should think about your direct sales business as a tree. When you take a walk around your neighborhood look at the big trees. Consider every branch a branch of your business. It may start with one show, then branch out into more and more shows and customers.

Consider each big tree you look at and realize that for every branch above ground there is a root below ground to keep the tree stable.

The law of gravity demands it! What goes up MUST go down! Can you visualize the massive root system under a tree of this size?

WOW! Think about it! Like this tree (picture taken near the Pennsylvania monument in Gettysburg, PA) all trees including your business tree have a root system that is as deep and wide under ground as it is above!

Direct Sales Business Leads

You may be thinking “how does this apply to my business?”

Each root in your business tree is a lead generation system which grows above ground into a stream of income. A direct sales business tree should have many lead generation systems as a solid foundation (root system) so it can grow tall and strong (branches) to create income.

This is another post about your direct sales business tree  which is a bit more graphic in showing the business’ root system.

There are many ways to generate business including:

  • Friends
  • Family
  • Schools
