While other direct sales companies are fighting social networking and fearfully regulating their sales constants’ online activities, Avon has paved the way for a guaranteed future by harnessing the collaborative resources available on the internet. Avon deserves to be one of the top 10 most successful brands for 2009.

Direct Selling Women’s Alliance, (DSWA) Association Of Direct Sales Entrepreneurs

by Deb Bixler

Direct Selling Women’s Alliance, Founder Nicki Keohohou

DSWA Logo

Direct Selling Women’s Alliance founder and president Nicki Keohohou has invited me to join the DSWA as a team partner.  The Direct Selling Women’s Alliance is a group of successful entrepreneurs who joined together to advance and promote professionalism in the direct sales and network marketing industry on a global scale.

DSWA, An Association Of Entrepreneurs

Based in Kailalua, Hawaii, the DSWA co-founders Nicki Keohohou and daughter Grace Keohohou both have a background of success in the direct selling industry.  The DSWA is literally an association of independently successful entrepreneurs who collaborate to bring a wide variety of expertise into the Alliance.   With each professional bringing something different to the association, and working from their location worldwide,  the team partners are dedicated to providing resources to direct sales companies, consultants and women of the industry.

DSWA, Search Engine Optimization Expert

Nicki has asked me to be the DSWA SEO expert.  My first project with the DSWA will be to bring the Direct Selling Women’s Alliance’s websites to the top of the search engines.  Currently, the DSWA is only receiving first page search results in Google and other search engines for their name, Direct Selling Women’s Alliance and DSWA, which means that all search engine traffic that they are getting already knew where they wanted to go.  They just did not know the address.  My job is to bring the Direct Selling Women’s Alliance to page one of Google on other keywords like ‘direct sales training’, or ‘direct selling resources’ so that when someone is looking for what the DSWA has to offer, they will show up on the first page of the results.  This will bring search engine traffic to the Direct Selling Women’s Alliance who did not even know that the DSWA existed. I just put up a new website to feature SEO Services.

As the DSWA search engine optimization expert, I will be providing SEO education and website optimization services to companies and individual members at a significant DSWA member discount, providing SEO tele-seminars and webinars, and other web services specific to the direct sales industry.  As a direct sales expert, the SEO services I will provide will be even more effective to home businesses because of my complete understanding of the industry.

Direct Selling Mission-Direct Sales Marketing

The mission of the Direct Selling Women’s Alliance  is to advance the professionalism of direct sales and network marketing industry while impacting the lives of women and ultimately families.  This is compatible with my personal and business mission to improve the quality of family life, now and into the next generation through good-for-you food choices and increased cash flow into the home.  I am really excited to have this opportunity to work with the greats in the direct sales industry.  The Direct Selling Women’s Alliance has a multitude of direct sales resources and education provided by industry success stories from all over the world.

New Start Up Home Party Company-Esio Beverages

by Deb Bixler

Esio Beverage New Party Plan Start Up Company

The new party plan company that I have been consulting with is Esio Beverages. They are in the process of starting their home party division of the Esio Beverage company. Esio Beverages is a new division of O Premium Waters, the largest bottled water company in Arizona. Their Drop and Drink technology makes Esio the perfect system of dispensing beverages to an active family with a variety of beverage tastes. The aseptic beverage packs are environmentally friendly, low calorie and have a shelf life of up to one year. The economical pricing and home delivery is perfect for any family.

A Ground Floor Opportunity

In direct sales and MLM we often hear about “getting in on the ground floor” which means being one of the first few consultants. Over the past six weeks while collaborating on this project I have often thought about that. This is the first time I have ever had the opportunity to see a direct sales business that is truly a ground floor opportunity. I wonder what the very first show was like 30 years ago for some of the established direct sales companies! Many of the direct sales giants were started almost by accident. Moms who wanted to create income without leaving the kids, for example. They had no idea how many lives were going to be impacted by their efforts. Imagine being the very first representative for a company who now has gone on to achieve what Mary Kay has achieved! Hannah, the first consultant with Esio, is in a position of massive potential.

Esio First Home Party

We actually did the very first home party for Esio last night. I did the presentation and the Esio team learned and took notes. Hannah the first rep for the new company is benefiting from the support of a well-established company, as well as the experience of an expert home party plan professional. She truly is in on the ground floor and has a future to be excited about.

Picking A Good Home Party Plan “Start-Up” Company

Home party plan companies are starting up every day. When you get in on the ground floor of a new company, do you really have the potential to do what these established companies have done? That depends on the company. I am sure that for as many successful home party companies there are these days, there are twice as many that have failed. Here are the questions to ask when joining any party plan company and especially a new company:

  • How long has the company been in business? This is important for many reasons including all of those that follow. Like Esio, is the party plan a new branch of a well-established company, or is it a lonely vision starting out in someone’s garage?
  • Does the start up company have the financial ability to stay afloat? New companies in any business need the working capital to make it through the rough times which are guaranteed to happen. Companies with cash flow from other sources are likely to get through bad times.
  • What kind of support is offered to the sales representatives? At this point, Esio Beverage’s party plan division is a work in progress. The very fact that they hired me to teach them the ropes and train their first 100 consultants shows that they are committed to team training and support.
  • Does the company have an internet presence and is it open to consultant interaction? The internet is here to stay. Any company that does not embrace the internet will not be in existence in ten years.
  • Is the company committed to branding and marketing on all levels? A company which is starting out of someone’s garage is not going to provide the branding that is required in today’s marketplace.
  • Is the structural support in place to grow? Again, Mom and Pop start ups are usually cute, but do they have the staff and structure in place to support the growth in customer service as well as sales consultant service?
  • Is it a viable product? I have been contacted by many people starting home party plans with niche type products which may have some appeal on some levels. Is the product line supported by the manufacturer? Has it been tested? What kind of warranties are there?

As I mentioned at the beginning of the list… is the company financially capable of providing you with all the support you deserve in a new business venture? Ground floor opportunities are only good if the floor does not fall out from under you after a couple of months or years.

Esio Beverages has proven to me that they are a viable business opportunity. I would recommend them to anyone interested in learning more about the product. I am not a party rep, nor do I “work” for the company. As a consultant for Esio, I am excited to continue to work with their sales force and guide them in their first year of party plan start-up.

Work At Home Opportunity Directory

by Deb Bixler

Create A Cash Flow Show Work At Home Opportunity Directory

A new home business opportunity directory is now linked from the sidebar of the Create A Cash Flow Show website. Due to the many people coming into the website on keywords like “how to make money at home” or “work from home,” I decided to create a directory of opportunities to make money from home. More and more people are looking for work-at-home opportunities in an effort to balance family and finance. Working at home and direct sales is one of the fastest growing industries of the 21st century for that exact reason.

List Your Business WAH Directory

The work-at-home directory is a category within the speakers’ directory. So, opportunity seekers may access it from this site or from the Speakers’ Directory. The directory will list any money-making opportunity that is WAH. That includes MLM programs and affiliate programs, as well as home party companies and other direct sales companies.

There are two ways to list your business opportunity in the directory

  1. Free Listings: List your website and your business opportunity in the directory for free with a reciprocal link to this website or to any one of my other websites from your website or directory.
  2. Buy a listing: List your business opportunity for one year for only $90.00. This includes a listing in two other categories as well.

I am excited to say that the directory has been in place for about a month and I know of at least one new consultant as a result of a directory listing. Hooray!!   When someone joins your organization from a directory listing, let me know.  If you want to List your business in the directory click here or send me an email.Deb (AT) DebBixler.com
