I just looked at Google analytics for CashFlowShow 2011 stats and these are the top 10 direct sales articles on the CashFlowShow website. These 10 articles had the most readers/visitors for the year.

The WFDSA conference featured government, consumer and academic experts from around the world. Participants focused on direct selling discussions and the expansion of the industry worldwide.

Turkey recently has emerged as a entrepreneurial hotbed for young, motivated direct sellers. The CashFlowShow – Direct Sales Radio guest this week (11/30/11) is Hakki Ozmorali, one of the leading experts in the Turkish direct selling industry.

As an active participant in the Turkish Direct Selling Association, Hakki will report on and share his experiences at the WFDSA Regional Conference.

Check With The Better Business Bureau!

I filed a complaint a couple of weeks ago with the Better Business Bureau. I wish I had checked before I invested my money!! The Better Business Bureau is there for you!

If you are wondering who to trust when doing business online, it is always a good idea to check into the company’s standing with the BBB. Not that everyone who you may possibly be considering doing business with will be accredited, but a business that has a complaint against them will be listed regardless of whether they are accredited or not. Can you trust the person you are giving your money to?

Better Business Bureau Accreditation

Better Business BureauWhen a business applies for accreditation with the Better Business Bureau, the BBB then determines if the business meets certain standards which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints.

The business pays a fee for accreditation, periodic reviews and monitoring that insures that the business serves the needs of the customers with integrity. The BBB is not endorsing nor have they even evaluated the products.

Check The BBB For Major Purchases Or Investments

In the past when making a major investment in a company I have checked the BBB for complaints but this time I did not. Although I was not well acquainted with the owner or his company, he came highly recommended by industry peers.

After investing a substantial sum into the company in May 2011, I have as yet (Nov. 2011) only received a small part of the promised services.  With continued effort and communication on my end and a focus on compromise, the company is non-communicative. They have not responded to the BBB either.

I just applied for my BBB accreditation. Look for the BBBOnLine seal on this site soon and make sure you take the time to investigate before investing!!

USA Today Endorses Direct SellingThe Direct Selling News and USA Today put out a terrific endorsement of direct selling in the Friday paper. (09/24/11)

I would recommend that all direct sellers get their hands on one or print out this short version of the Direct Selling News supplement that was featured in the USA Today this past week.

“Why Direct Selling Works”

The PDF flier linked above only includes the first article in the supplement. You can buy the full version of the supplement “Why Direct Selling Works” at the Direct Selling News website.
