Accelerated Learning – Network Marketing Training

Posted by Deb Bixler

Introducing MLM Trainer Anders Gustavsson

I would like to introduce you to my friend, Anders Gustavsson , Co-founder & CEO  of Infinite Synergy, creators of MLM The Game.  I have played MLM The Game and I am really impressed with the fun learning environment it provides.  The game teaches new consultants the realities of network marketing, and/or shows a potential sales consultant the realities of network marketing in an entertaining manner.  I can see MLM The Game being used to share your opportunity with friends and family as well as in team training.  It is a spiffy tool and a fun game.  I asked Anders to contribute an article for the blog.  The first part follows.

Accelerated Learning Provides Effective Network Marketing Training (Part 1)

Direct Selling is about effectively teaching people to duplicate your successful efforts.  The teaching style of only listening and memorizing is outdated, boring, and is not the most efficient way to learn or teach.

Accelerated learning practices don’t just tell you the information; they engage trainees in the process. While involved this way, people will learn with multiple senses. When you are training your downline, your lessons will be much better remembered if you create accelerated learning environments that will interest a broad range of people.
MLM The GameThese are some of the main effects of Accelerated Learning;

  1. There is interaction with others which not only elevates the energy and blood flow to the brain but also offers even better memory retention.
  2. This creates a positive mental attitude which further contributes to learning.
  3. Both sides of the brain are being used simultaneously, making it much easier to remember and truly understand new materials.

Do you have any ideas as to how you can use or create an accelerated learning technique  by engaging your trainees in the process?

If so, please post a comment below. In part 2, I will share information about the learning process, and in part 3 we will wrap up with many ideas for you to utilize and test.

    I now have almost all of your programs and my business is booming! This article is different, and I think I use that technique in training new people. I bring my new consultants to one of my shows to be my assistant. I think this helps them overcome the fear of their first show because they get to stand in front of the room without any real responsibility. They also hear my words so they are learning and doing. I think that is what you are saying about engaging both sides of the brain.

    We do a interactive game at meetings that involves the team in asking questions and playing a game that I call the consultant vs the guest game. I have premade cards that set the scenario and they pick one and the partner has another that sets the stage for the type of answer or response. Some relate to recruiting and some relate to bookings. The consultants get to “think on their feet” during the game and practice responses to common questions or concerns.

    Jen – It is great that you use that technique…keep it up, interaction is key, and you are smart to bring your new representative with you. They will do the same, and so on, and so on…

    Teresa – Your game sounds interesting, I am happy for you that you got creative and created something yourself.

    Too many people think what they create has to be PERFECT, and it does not. Get creative! This too will trickle downline.

    Learning in a game atmosphere to “think on your feet” is very helpful in real life! Keep it up, and if you are open to it, please share the game, maybe we can collaborate on a new product…contact me via our website.
