Direct Selling Impacts Lives

The direct sales industry has impacted 100′s and 1000′s of lives over the past 150 years.  Our first guest speaker on the2010  Speakers In The Park direct sales Summer education series is  Keeper (Nick Catran-Whitney) the organizer of the direct selling 100 Million Voices Project 2010.  Kicking the series off on May 26, 2010  Keeper founder of DirectSellingLive will share some of the stories that he has gathered in the project.

Direct Sales History Million Voices

The 100 Million Voices Project 2010 represents the greatest effort to gather historical content through telling of stories in the history of Network Marketing/Direct Selling. Never before has such a task been attempted. As part of the project I submitted 3 “story” videos.  One was based on my personal transition from the “job” force into direct selling and the other two were videos based on how my party plan business impacted the lives of children in my family.

Direct Selling Family Values

One of the greatest successes of the industry is the ability to impact the quality of family life while generating income.  When Savannah was younger (7-10) we spent quality time together while I was working and she tagged along to a home party.  This video is a totally unrehearsed and for the most part unedited video interview with Savannah now 12 years old.  As this video illustrates the direct selling industry can and does create work ethics and values in young people by allowing them to participate in the business and have fun too.
