As a participant that day I can vouch for the collaboration that occurred!

One of the things we were reminded of again is just how deeply honest and sincere appreciation for others can affect them, and we saw it exhibited first hand right there in the workshop that day, as some people were really touched by some appreciation they got!

I personally was reminded of the importance to acknowledge someone's talents/feelings/gifts/qualities within themselves, not just compliment them.

Simple example: instead of saying, "Wow, you really look like you're in good shape!" say something like, "Wow, you really look like you're in good shape--I really admire the SELF-DISCIPLINE you have to work out!" (Acknowledges their inner quality of self-discipline.)

Thanks Deb and Nicki!
