Direct Selling Women’s Alliance

I joined the Direct Selling Women’s Alliance last month. The Direct Selling Women’s Alliance is a association of direct sales professionals who come together to learn, celebrate and grow their business. It is a community of like minds and spirits who share a love of the direct selling profession and a passion for improving lives both personally and professionally through a career in direct selling. Learn more about the Direct Selling Women’s Alliance.
The DSWA is an organization dedicated solely to the needs of independent distributors like you. Some of the members include educators, speakers, supportive partners, guides, friends, confidants, vendors and mentors who understand the joys and challenges of operating a home-based business. Imagine… belonging to a community of individuals who respect your choice to have a direct selling business, understand your challenges and have the answers and guidance that will empower you to take your business to new heights…..
The Direct Selling Women’s Alliance has many benefits for vendors, sales consultants, team leaders, and supportive spouses. Some of the membership benefits include:
• Monthly specials: members or vendors like myself offer study sets, books, or CDs on the members’ only site at a discount.
• Live and archived tele-seminars: every week there are tele-seminars which are open to all members. These calls are archived into the tele-seminar library for your use in the future.
• Group medical benefits: what is the one objection you hear the most often? The DSWA solves this problem by offering members a group medical insurance program. This alone is a valuable tool to use for sharing the opportunity.
• E-Book library-The e-book library is direct sales specific!
• Free “Millionaire Mindset” seminars
• Travel discounts
• Direct sales learning library of articles: Professional educators as well as Leaders, in a wide variety of home party businesses, are submitting articles for you to take advantage of. The categories include scheduling, sharing the opportunity, motivation, and other direct sales-specific to utilize to grow your business and to use for team training.
• Free conference bridge: this is an awesome benefit that all leaders can use!
• 25% Fed-Ex Kinko‘s discount: you can use this when you have office needs when on the road for your national conferences.
Those benefits are only the beginning. I joined the DSWA because it is so unique. I love the fact that it the Alliance is direct sales-specific. In the past I had thought of joining the DSA. The Direct Sales Association membership is mainly made up of home offices, or corporate network marketers and direct sales businesses. I found the name to be somewhat misleading and over-priced for individuals. Yes, the organization title implies that it is direct sales- specific, yet many of the organizations are not home party based referral programs. Like the DSA many other organizations are network marketing specific and direct sales compatible. As a direct sales expert and educator, I had no hesitation when I first was introduced to the Direct Sales Women’s Alliance. I am impressed with the quality of information available to the members on the web site, the tools and educators involved with the Direct Sales Women’s Alliance.
All the information that is offered is available for you to pass on to your team. This Alliance is awesome leverage for leaders to use in team training. It is like the Chamber Of Commerce for Direct Sales. Like the Chamber, the DSWA, provides tools, resources and information, collaborating, and a comfortable environment for growing your business. Check it out at www.DirectSalesWomensAlliance.com I have already benefitted from my membership with the Direct Selling Women’s Alliance. I am sure that you will be impressed with the Alliance as well.
Building your Home-Party Business
One of the most common questions I get is “What is your secret? What is your secret to building your home-party business to replace your real job in such a short time?” The answer to that question is that there is no secret….
The real answer to that question is that I studied my new field, I invested in education and growing my business, and paid coaches and mentors to leverage myself into a position of success. Simply put, I was willing to invest in myself! I meet people all the time that want the secret, and when given the gift of education, do not accept it. One of the secrets is that you must be willing to invest in yourself, both time and money, in order to achieve your goals. Just last night I was with a team of sales reps who were eager to move ahead in their business, yet no one was willing to spend $199 to catapult their business to higher levels. Even when given an unconditional guarantee that, if after 3 months, they were not happy with the results, I would return their investment!! What is the problem here? You must spend money to make money. I can teach you the secrets. I cannot do them for you. The secret is to join organizations like the DSWA, buy the Create A Cash Flow Show, oOr Power-UP sets, or go to your National Conference.
The secret to success in any business is to invest in your education and to network with other like-minded people! This is a minor investment (less than $100 per year for sales reps) and the value is priceless. Check out the DSWA by clicking HERE.

Deb, I was happy to see your posting regarding the DSWA. I’ve recently signed up with DSWA and have found their site useful. I’m hoping to download some of their archieve teleclasses to listen at my leisure.
I agree with expanding my education and gaining the many resources there are concerning the Direct Selling profession.
Thanks again,
Sandy
Just wanted to comment again from being a member of the DSWA. There’s a teleconference on this Thursday night through the DSWA with Deb Bixler and is only available as a Member Only with DSWA.
I’ve had the privledge to attend a one day seminar with Deb as the guess speaking and enjoyed it so much. Deb had alot of GREAT ideas to add to your business if it’s not where you want it to be and just hearing her success story and why she joined the DS business, made me even more want to succeed and be like her.
