Short for Web-based seminar, a webinar is a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the Web. A key feature of a Webinar is its interactive elements — the ability to give, receive and discuss information. In a web conference, each participant sits at his or her own computer and is connected to other participants via the internet and is able to view the actual computer screen of the presenter. Forms, spread sheets and movement on the internet (on the presenters screen) can ve viewed by the participants as they happen during the seminar.Webinars have a chat feature which enables questions to be asked in real time.

The call will still be a tele-seminar call just like always. You can call in and listen as usual. The webinar part requires registration. You can call in to the tele-seminar without registering.
