Do You Know Your Life Purpose?
Posted by Anders GustavssonWhat Is Your Life Purpose?
Today it is more important than ever to begin your journey on finding your life’s purpose. When one begins to think about this, it is easy to get overwhelmed. That is because it is big. For some it may invoke some fear. Others are numb to it, thinking that they do not need it, or that it does not exist.
It certainly does exist, and your life will be infinitely happier once you are on your path. The good news is that it is actually fun to find your life purpose, and the system you can follow to begin your journey.
Your Purpose/Meaning Of Life
The meaning of your life or purpose will be found through the Process of Transformation.
1. Explore
Do what you like, and what you think you may love. Do similar things, and play with it…don’t get locked in to what is comfortable just because it is ok, and it pays the bills. When you are no longer learning, and when things are stagnant, leave that, and explore more.
Travel, help others, and constantly change jobs in which you have not found something that truly feels right.
Take the stance and realize that school taught us NOT to fail, but it is through failure that so much more is attained! When you do fail, take the stance that every failure is good in some way. Always, no matter what, love where you are NOW.
2. Personal Development
You don’t know everything.
I am sure you can relate…sometimes when I learn about a new subject, I just totally get how little I actually know. It is amazing how much is out there!
Perhaps it is our ego that likes to keep us from taking more time to learn, read, and develop ourselves. That is also odd because if it is our ego that wants us to stay comfortable and away from that sometimes, I also believe that sometimes our ego that wants us to be big, and keep learning. That is a battle that can be fought on both ends. In any case, I believe that we can build ourselves without ego; I believe we can even trick the ego to get on our good side, and use its power to our advantage.
What I do know is that if we stop challenging our mind, and stop reading, learning, and asking questions, parts of our brain stop working. Our intelligence and our desire to keep learning dwindles, and little by little we are on the couch every night, watching others live their dream on the radiant light box we call a tv.
If you want to find your true purpose, the last thing you want to lose is your curiosity to learn. Your learning simultaneously expands your mind power, soul search, and body understandings.
So how can you develop yourself? There are so many ways! Join interesting Meetups, go to the bookstore and pick new books each time, go to seminars, be open to it all, say yes to learning…
3. Ignite
Through exploration and personal growth you will come across activities you like, topics you enjoy; this is the time to ignite! By ignite, I mean take action. Nothing has ever happened without action. Do it!
Through actually doing it you will find out if this truly is something you are passionate about. If you are passionate, it can lead to your purpose. So keep doing it for a longer period. If after igniting, you lose the initial passion, or if there is no more learning, or if it just feels monotonous, or time is just going by and you are just filling space, what you are doing is clearly not your purpose. Leave it behind, and go back to step 1.
4. Discover
If, after igniting what you are interested in, you feel a deep sense of fulfillment, then you are likely getting really close to finding your purpose. Finding your purpose is not something that happens over a day, a week, or sometimes not even over a year. However, you can find what you are passionate about in a day or a week, and it is through doing what you are most passionate about that will open the doors to your true life purpose.

What good timing. I have been struggling with my vision and focus lately and with the beginning of a new year with my business I have been spending some time not only getting my office in shape and the new plans for the year for consultant contests and activities, but time for ME to visualize and put in words those things that will help me stay focused again…can’t wait to hear what your speaker has to say.
