The Direct Selling Live, Women of Power Awards are the first annual awards designed specifically to recognize the successful women in the industry who have achieved so much.

Today almost 80% of all consultants in direct sales are women.  Around the world it has been women who have bought more products, sold more products, used more products and built more businesses in the direct sales industry. Yet frequently it is the men who receive the most recognition.

Power 30 Direct Sales Awards

The Power 30 direct sales awards honored 31 influential women in direct sales.

The 31st honoree is Madame CJ Walker – The Mother of Network Marketing & The Worlds First Female Self-Made Millionaire.  Madame CJ Walker was the daughter of former slaves and started her own business selling hair care products.  She quickly started recruiting sales consultants to sell her products. Congrats to all of the award receipients……just wondering why it had to say “openly gay” before Kara Kowalski?…..I thought we were past that terminology…….I didn’t notice “openly heterosexual” before anyones name….winning the award should be good enough to stand alone without the uneccesary labeling…..
